My first contact with Vietnam Motorbike Tours was very positive and (ALAN) is a 24/7 guy who always responds very quickly to inquiries. I had booked a 16 day tour but after arriving and chatting more with Alan and my guide Quynh we made an last minute trip change to include Northern Vietnam and then head south by adding 3 days. I am very glad we did this as the North is amazing!!! Days of riding on the mountain tops and thru Meo Vac and Sapa was breath taking scenery all the way with incredible windy, twistie stuff of a biker dreams came true. Riding over
Bamboo bridges, roads that 4 wheelers can not go and not see another westerner for days.
After meeting other westerners traveling through Vietnam I soon realized my experience with Quynh riding to places the tourist do not generally see and learning about the culture, history, about the war and experience the real full meal deal of Vietnam is all about and felt that I was so fortunate to have decide to do this trip. Price included many tours with private English speaking guides.
Quynh and I became friends immediately and after 19 days of sometimes very challenging riding we were still friends. The best part is I kept the rubber side down almost the whole time. Advise you to wear armor as mine saved me in a bit of a crash.
If you have an passion for doing something different, experiencing a whole new culture with very nice people, Alan, his guides and there new good reliable and well maintained bikes will give you a experience you will remember for the rest of your life.
